Connections to other people's cool stuff

O.K., if you have some time to kill (and if you didn't, you wouldn't be here, would you...), kick back, order a Cyber- Pizza from Beej, and check out a few of the pages I like.
The best is unquestionably RockWeb, which was created by my friend Luke and a bunch of other people. I've been doing a little bit of work for them coding HTML, and they're providing my Page o'Hapiness with a home, so I am biased. Still, it's pretty nifty.

Incidentally, RockWeb's not a good representation of my personal musical taste. I'm not very adventurous musically, if you want to know the truth. At home I mostly listen to Michelle Schoked, Peter Gabriel, Oingo Boing, Devo, Peter Simon, Tom Lehrer, Arne Saba, and (my favorites!) They Might Be Giants. I listen to oldies on the radio. No kidding.

When I first started this pages, I had hoped to create a Magic Eight-Ball server as my first original content, but Troy Downing already has one up and running, so this is just a link to his.
If you go to Robert Stockton's home page, you'll find a bunch of classic children's books (see the bookshelf below for a sampling), and lots of other interesting material ranging from HTML manipulation tools to renaissance music information
O.K...I don't believe in astrology or tarot readings or any of the mystical prognostication stuff (except for the Magic Eight-Ball, which actually works, as we all know). Still, I really like this Tarot page...

(It's a bit slow-moving, so it's best to use it when you have time to spare or a lightning-fast connection.)

Naturally, I have a link to Bianca's Smut Shack. I want to quote Tom Lehrer's song lyric ("give me smut and nothing but..."), except that Bianca has lots of cool stuff, some of which isn't smutty at all (darn).
Also, here's a link to Yahoo, so you can jump out of here if you want to find somewhere new to surf.
And finally, my bookshelf full of borrowed books:

The script to the movie The Princess Bride
Healthwise, a listing of health questions and answers from the Columbia University Health Service
Wired Magazine

These books are all "borrowed" from RGS's home page...

The Wizard of Oz
The Marvelous Land of Oz, both by L. Frank Baum
Anne of Green Gables
Anne of Avonlea, and
Anne of the Island by Lucy Maud Montgomery
Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare
Dracula by Bram Stoker
The Red Badge of Courage by Stephen Crane
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens)
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carrol, with illustrations
(or get Alice in non-illustrated form, from Tom L at Indiana University)
Alice Through the Looking Glass, also from Tom L at Indiana University.
